OVER 1,500 CHERRY TREES...

...have been planted across Howard County, Maryland to beautify and beckon people to visit each Spring. The beauty however of BLOSSOMS OF HOPE goes far beyond the trees' annual display of color.

The project is helping to bring hope to individuals and families within our community who are coping with cancer through its contributions to Howard County General Hospital's CLAUDIA MAYER CANCER RESOURCE CENTER.This far, over $145,000 has been raised to help support the Center through the cherry tree project.

It's about raising awareness during the trees beautiful blossoming season each April of the importance of taking preventative steps in the fight against breast and other cancers.
